Plans to get the car out of the trailer and get started on the engine removal.  Mind says go but the body is saying otherwise.

The grandsons are over for the weekend so it’s chaos. Everyone have a great and safe weekend. 

 
Puttin some miles on the lambor-feeties.  We did about 10 miles yesterday and 8-ish the day before.

Smoked 15lbs of pork butt overnight. 

Buddy coming over to pick up his Banshee I've been having repaired/storing/maintaining for the last 3 years.  He's supposed to leave me something nice!

Yesterday my son and I prepped for our day trip in Lidel Creek Wash, changin paddle tires to dirt, etc. for the toy box. On my way to get my TH and finish prep, maybe do some work on it, calk repair... Install the master bedroom smart TV I bought, etc.

Leaving at 7am (1 hour drive) to Rialto and romp all day, come home that night. We park right behind my Mom's house (the toys) and can use the pool. Bringing my 2 new(er) Razors and my neighbor is bringing the '14 I sold him. It will be like 10+ of us with kids. Should be a blast. Also, bringing my daughter's quad and a dirt bike.

PS. Plan to 'corner' my wife and my neighbor with the calendar. He has a cabin in Green Valley.. with land. We can part our rigs, and hit Fawn Skin, Arrowhead, Big Bear, right from the cabin. So I want to lock in a full weekend trip for 2-4 weeks from today. If I can't get at least 10 riding trips/year consistently, I'm going to off it all. .. we'll see.

PPS. New shoes for the suburban

Paid the Reg for my car. Went grocery shopping for things for the next week. Got my sons paddle off his dirt bike and his knobby put back on. Doing Laundry clean the House and Yard and Prep for Next Saturdays SXS run from my House to Slash X and Back should be right at 100 miles

 
Welded some rod holders on an offshore boat tower this morning. Cleaned up the yard a bit. Family in town from az go shoot archery and bbq. Breakfast at gillespie field cafe tomorrow morning then costco for 6-800$ bill

 
The GF is going to a baby shower then to the casino with my mom.  Just me and the pups today.  We ain't doin' sht!

 
Kid is away this weekend so wife and I decided to do a weekend trip to Crater Lake in the Moho. Even with cold, wind and fog, we were awestruck by the beauty of this natural wonder. Hard to imagine a lake at 6,000’ elevation and then it is almost 2,000’ deep. Amazing!

Put my sons’ Rubicon on the open deck trailer and off we went. Found a spot at a little RV park about 30 miles from the Lake. We’ve seen the Lake, the Rogue River gorge and Pearsony Falls. Several nice walks with the dogs from camp too. Been a nice little getaway. Will load up in the morning and make our 4.5 hour trek back home. 

 
My next door neighbor has a party once a year. Catered and live band. Looks like Glamis. Lots of people. Good food. This is view from my front yard
