First lets Start out by a BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SANDSAMPLER!!!

For me normal House chores get things hopefully closer to being loaded up for mama G Vets weekend.

 
Got a (TO DO) list a mile long! And not ready to start the adventure. Peace

 
Small list of honey dos. Visit mom today.  Hope for a short hike tomorrow.   Really need to get the shocks onto the buggy.  

 
Going to a buddies house and walk him through some do’s and font’s. His first trip is Sunday to the Mammoth area.  Then hitting up a killer BBQ place in Hemet.  Sunday probably going to see how I can fit 10#’s of crap in a 5# trailer.

Sitting up here in Mammoth waiting for everyone to wake up. Had a great ride yesterday up to Laurel lake. That water is so beautiful I just had to go for a swim. Eff me it was too cold but it sure wakes you up. 

 
Sold the XX and meet the buyer in Eugene last night and dropped it off on our way to Sandy to see the Grandkids. Spent the night in Coburg getting around to go the rest of the way will travel home tomorrow.

A friend decided to have her sandal clad foot meet the spokes of an e bike at 20 mph the other day.  Luckily, she still has a foot (surgeon did a great job), but won't be playing volleyball any time soon.  Spent last night making sure she was doing okay (ie drinking lots of tequila). 

Thinking I'll make a pot of chili today, enjoy a few beers while I'm doing so. Tomorrow is church (aka guitar shop jam where local musicians come and workshop songs, play sing alongs etc) and probably a few football bets/beers . . .

Just finished the work on this little gem…. Bought her off a friend of my dads. I used to follow him around the dunes when I was a kid trailing behind this bike. Told him if he ever wanted to sell it, give me a call. Well, 36 years later, here it sits in my garage. He hadn’t started it since 2007 so it needed some love. The top and bottom end had been redone with 10 minutes run time before he parked it. Spent some time and a little money getting it back into running shape. Maiden voyage with her will be next weekend…. Nostalgia and sentimental value at its finest!!

Whelp, got a couple of things done yesterday.  

Years ago I build a few of these umbrella holders for the family.  My SIL forgot hers on the beach, so I made her another one.  The dual angle was the original design.  The 45* was never used... 

Made a new flag holder for the house.  

I like doing dumb little projects like this.  No stress, fun stuff.  Gives me a chance to do new things and be creative.  

Went through the trailer and cleaned it up.  Checked the inventory of stuff.  Made a list of the things I need to put on there.
