It's freaking Friday, what did you learn this week?

I learned there's a sweet little compound of homes/guest houses in between Julian and Descanso on 500 acres for 2.5 mil.  Seems really cheap.

Checked out with department heads yesterday to possibly purchase.

I learned that if you have warehouse locations for items that you can backflush whole top levels & have them pull from those locations, with out the BOM's having the resource consumption unchecked & a warehouse put into the warehouse field.

I know, I know............ fascinating chit..........

I learned, Don't overlook the small things......... We put my 99 year old mothers gold cross, that my dad had given her, into a stupid felt pouch, got lost on way to the jewelers.  ALWAYS put jewelry into a big zip lock so you can't lose it..........What a frigging week.

I learned that COLD is COLD. When it's 11* outside, you might want to layer up your clothing dummy. Peace

I learned that AWD owns snow and ice.

I learned I'm a disciplined muffk'a because I was the only in the gym M-Th, at 3:30am and through the time I left, 6:10am.  Everyone else was skurred to drive.

I learned that my son now has a sincere appreciation for the term, "Nobody Cares; Work Harder"!

I learned that Beverly Hills-level dental work is about 70% less expensive here.

I learned that Karma is real and serves justice cold.

I got sick last weekend. The wife was annoyed I got sick again and gave me chit saying i was over reacting. I was down from Friday night till Sunday morning. By Sunday I was working in the yard, just a little fatigued. By Sunday night the wife was sick. She has been down all week and very dramatic about feeling shitty. Today is the first day she started feeling better. Karma is real!

I learned that you get what you give. I was fortunate enough to spend a substantial amount of time in the dunes this season and while surrounded with a bunch of great people doing really good chit, you get it back in spades. I was also reminded that there are amazing people at Gilmore's, Daddy's, and Glamis Dunes Rentals that make spending all that time out there a lot more enjoyable.
