Looking at this vehicle for my daughter. .. wonder if this center bar is to keep the motor from coming into the cab on a collision.. anyone know?.. just looks odd.

Thanks,

One of those Hyundai handles might have helped her a little bit she probably should have noped out of there when she saw that metal tractor seat

Looks like they're taking some styling from the new corvette interior.... not sure if it's structural at all.

We just got a 2022 kia forte gt for my wife to drive while fuel is so high (excursion diesel was getting expensive) shes averaging 32mpg 100k warranty 100k free service. We like it so far

Just interior styling/ergonomics.  They're pretty good cars, Koreans have come a loooooong way since this pile:

Not quite Honda/Toyota, but definitely better than the other competition and the price is still good.

That Hyundai Excel could hit at “speeds at 110 to 115 m.p.h., just don't do that in Los Angeles.

The Korean Cars have come a long way, like everyone else said....that grab bar is just exactly that...a funky grab bar.

Was gonna get wife/daughter new rides... now she wants to spend it on the house.. bathroom/kitchen.. She runs the show since I don't ask permission to throw $100s of thousands into the toys (recently)... Shoot I have over $50k in to each of my SXS.. (guessing)..

Fine by me.. I think (since I have 2 vehicles) we just hunker down and drive what we have.. wait for the market to change.

Peace out!

We call it the wall of buttons, they are the climate control buttons.

I prefer to think that it keeps the riffraff on their side and out of the command center!

Also prevents you from directly witnessing your wife scratch the glovebox up with all the hardware on her purse.  Again.

Seriously, women's purses are the single biggest threat to automotive finishes everywhere.
