Just curious if there is a shortage of Albins gears like the rest of the trans parts.

It depends on the type of Albins transaxle.
We are pretty well stocked on gears for the sequential units as of today.
If you have an H-pattern synchronized trans, Albins has cut back on the wide range of ratio's they used to offer. We now only carry the common 2 or 3 ratio sets in stock (which covers 95% of the units still running). These can be limited at times as we only stock a few sets per ratio, and we are occasionally waiting for a resupply from Albins, which can be a few weeks if they have them in stock, or a few months if they have to be manufactured.
