what Im after is a solid car with most everything there, but needing some love & finishing touches.  Im not after a basket case or Pile of cr*p thrown into a body, Im also not after a $50K+ award winner either.  I know... Im kind of all over the place with this....

what I would really like is a Box Nova, Old Falcon, or Dart with a "new EFI motor" (LS, Mod, Hemi) and a 5 or 6 speed stick (but an auto would work too). 

Im also interested in a Turbo Regal or GN from 84 to 87 (no Cyclones or Typhoons). 

Im also interested in a 70 to 73 Camaro (RS preferable), with an LS & either Auto or stick.

I just looked @ a 67 Notchback and I was going to pull the trigger on it, but the body was just too far gone for my taste/timeline.  a nice Notch or Square back or Maybe Ghia would be cool.  No busses or Bugs or fastbacks. 

Hell even something weird like an old Toyota or Datsun wagon with a newer EFI motor (22RE) would be cool.  Im gonna drive this Beotch, so EFI preferable...

Im kind of a cheap ass, so I would be more willing to buy something on the "needs love" side and do work than buy an uber nice TK car.  Im also kind of looking for something to work on when dune season is over (like right now....  LOL).

Im in San Diego, but am willing to travel (NM, AZ, CA, WA, ID, NV, UT) for the right car.

Everyone is RetroRod Camaros, that would be amazing to do that to a notch back.  Big rims, S4 Turbo Subi with Air, I think that would be really cool, with updated interior, and power steering and AC to be all concealed then update all suspension to A-arm front, 

I would want the Ken Block of Notch Backs 

 
Holley makes the Sniper system that goes in place of a carb.  So, I wouldn't look away from a nicely mod'd ride just because it's got a carb.
