Looking at buying a new Duramax and I know there is/was a dealership in Idaho that had the best deals in the country. I had even read something about it here as well so I know it must be true.
Does anyone have that info?

If not the Idaho dealership, how about some recommendations on a great priced dealer for these trucks? It’s doesn’t matter the location.

Dave smith has deals on all brands they carry…. I had ridiculous deals on rams setup through them. They are in Kellog Idaho….

I have a friend in Yuma that bought a PU up there....He flew up, drove back for a week, and still saved money

The chevy dealers in imperial valley have a few well priced 4wd dmax’s in stock….not that i’ve been looking….. last new dmax i bought was in 2005 atdel norte chevrolet in brawley. They were good and much cheaper than anyone in san diego

Nothing in Ca will compare to out of state prices. I was laughed at by every Ca dealership I called when I told them what I was being offered in Idaho and Az…. They said buy 2 and bring one back and sell it to them so they could resell for a profit…. Bought a Ram for 19k off MSRP when the closest I could get here was less than 10k off Msrp

I believe this was the place I had heard about.

My father in law has bought a couple new trucks from a Chevy dealer in Brawley. He talked to his guy down there already but they don’t have the specific truck im looking for. They’re still cheaper than the dealers up here.

Hmm, I'll have to check them out, been looking at the 1/2 ton with the 3.0 Duramax. I know the general mgr in Prescott but I wonder what Dave Smith could do.

Dave Smith Motors has been bought/sold a couple times since they had good pricing. I ordered my 2015 Ram there, and the pricing was good. After that, every time I checked, I could do way better elsewhere.

Before ordering my '24 Ram from Mark Dodge, I had gotten a way better price on a GMC from Robideaux in CDA. They blew Dave Smith out of the water.

Make sure you do your homework on that engine; not so impressive from everything I've seen. Ginny's daughter has one and it's a pain in the ass.

Dennis Dillion was the place I always saw with the good GMC deals

I know 2 guys that are getting 30+ mpg on the fwy and love their trucks

But I have heard mixed reviews

I like that Robudeaux is also a GMC dealer!

Similar to the Dodge V6 diesels....Love/Hate relationship....not quite at the Ford 6.0 yet, but getting there.

Dealers in FL were cheaper then ID (Smith) when I looked last night.

I want that 1500 with 3.0 Babymax in Trail Custom trim...long (the short, not extra short) bed. Regular dash, not all that digital crap and split front bench.....a real truck in other words.

Best I saw was 46-48k about 5k off the 55k msrp

Florida is long drive!

I hate buying a new vehicle more than I can express.

Oscar with Rio Vista Chevrolet in Buellton, CA was the best experience I have ever had and they killed it on the price. Did everything online and they delivered it the next day.
