Sometimes you need a little break and want to watch some TV. I ride hard all day drink starting with Bloody's in am and sometimes I get tired of hearing the shit talking my group of retards (I mean friends) and want to get away lol. Seriously how do you guys with no satellite just downloaded movies connect your device to your TV with a USB cord? I tried a few cords and nothing and internet search says most newer devices dont allow public to use a cable for some reason.

i phone you can do lightning to hdmi adapter.or mirror phone to tv wireless depending on tv.

On an Android, you just mirror the screen.

Although a hot spot might be required?

I don't watch TV when I'm camping.

easiest way is with a smart tv and either starlink or off your phones hot spot. a lot of apps on your phone wont work with screen mirroring

To connect your phone to your TV with a cable, you can use a USB-C to HDMI adapter or cable:
Plug the HDMI end of the cable into an available HDMI port on your TV.
Plug the USB-C end of the cable into your phone.
Use your TV remote to change the source or input to the HDMI port you used.
Your phone's screen will appear on your TV.
Here are some things to keep in mind:
Compatibility
Not all phones support connecting directly with a cable. You can check if your phone supports HDMI Alt Mode, which allows it to output video. Some Android devices have micro or mini HDMI ports for direct connection.
Charging
Using a USB-C to HDMI adapter will take up your phone's charging port. If you plan to use this method regularly, you can use a USB-C to HDMI adapter that includes a charging port.
Resolution and aspect ratio
Make sure the resolution and aspect ratio settings on your phone and TV are compatible. If they're not, you might see a distorted or cropped image.

It can be done, see the copy paste above.

These USB to HDMI Cables are like $6 to $8 on Amazon.

Only issue is if your tv doesn't have a HDMI Port.

New phones dont let you use cable to TV anymore. manufactures got stupid about it for some reason. I can cast to TV but need wifi and not always the best signal camping.
