This.Benjamin Marauder in .25 with the hill suppressor....um super quite , gut shot they will go away and die someplace else... just sayin.
Winchester virus or Remingtons disease. Either way it's fatal.Live in the sticks. Coyotes and bobcats are a problem.
Those that leave me alone, get left alone. Any I catch not honoring mine gets lead poisoning. Sorry, not sorry.
There are .30caliber versions that will kill a deer. And, you can get them in calibers up to nearly 50.There are air rifles out there that will kill a Prairie Dog at 200 yds...they run off a SCUBA type tank, and operate on real high pressure.
Red light works best. They cannot see it. Normal flash light they tend to stay away. Besides you dont lose your night vision with red; and you can actually see them better because their eyes glow. When i predator hunt i use the headlamp from nighteyeslights.com (gun mount lights illegal in cali). The gun mount one is nice too (brighter) if legal in your stateYou might want to google problem in AZ wildlife and see what you can do to them. In my state (CO), you can pretty much do whatever and the animals are spelled out in the law. Call the G&F and ask them what the law is called.
Antifreeze now has something in it to make it bitter to critters, therefore, they won't drink it.
Once the yote eats your favorite cat...you are not so accepting of their presence.
I worked w/a guy, that the above happened to. He poured bacon grease on a post?....somewhere. He got up on the roof w/a 10-22. He taped 2 flashlights to it....one for the target and one for the sights. He got the SOB...pun intended. BTW....he has since commited suicide, so he can't be prosecuted.
Another guy....he was 74, 25 years ago...I don't know how, but he shot em w/a .22. As previously suggested, gut-shot them. They haul themselves off before they die....AND, once they've eaten your cat, you aren't so squimish.
They both lived in Why, AZ....unincorporated and they were both the last house at the end of town.

.22 Shorts or .22 CB are sorta quiet. I'd be real hesitant to pop caps in town.
AND, it may not be illegal to shoot in the city....it didn't use to be in Phoenix and Yuma. You used to be able to hunt Doves in those cities.
You might be able to trap them, w/a box or leg hold (not legal in my state). Like I said, google the law first and find where you stand.
