As the title say how many people here from California have the proper license?
Any trailer over 10k requires a class a commercial or non commercial or 5th up to 15k with endorsement?

Negative 42k Moho and 12k trailer class c let my class a go when I got my Nevada license

I would say less than 50% have the correct license due to a lack of knowledge. You can buy the truck and the trailer and not a word is mentioned at any point. Only way they would find out is from an unrelated stop, which is too late.

I got my non-commercial A in my early 20s after I had bought a used WW over 15k.

I’m good on towing. I have a commercial A because of being in the Heavy equipment business also

I am a the “average joe”….with a class A cdl.
So Am I, I needed to get a Cdl as I needed to drive fire trucks a few times a month. But the bulk of the reason I got it was to drive the Rv. If I was going to do it I was going all in, doubles, tank, manual trans and so on.

I’m sure many don’t and I’m sure it’s not a common citation. I didn’t renew my liscense or endorsements. If the old gray hairs grandpa can operate his pusher and enclosed without a liscense I think I’m ok.

I work with your guys all the time with Joseph’s. Awesome guys!
I started working with Joseph’s mom when she ran north county dispatch about 1994 that kind of turned into Joseph trucking about 15 years ago
They are great to work with and have become one of the biggest dump truck companies in San Diego
Say hello I still drive dump truck some days
