how do you deal with static electricity and dusty screens/helmet visors?

With the dry air and dust in Glamis there is always a thin layer of dust on my GPS screen, and helmet lens.  

What do you use to combat this? 

-Rubber strap dragging ground? All i got was "hey you are dragging something", no real results

-dryer sheets rubbed on the screens, meh not really worked for any amount of time

-wax the screens, tried it doesn't last more than half a ride.

what suggestions or secrets do ya'll have
