How about a little nitromethane in your daily driver!

Remember in the old days the AAFuel cars would warm up on Alky then switch to Nitro, running on Alky they sounded like a mild engine then when switching to Nitro it sounded like a completely different engine. DON~~~

They did that a few years ago in Bakersfield at the HRR.  Freaked me out until i realized what they were doing.  LOL

You know why, right? Alcohol is 30% Oxygen by weight, and requires double jet size to burn the alcohol at full HP. Without the larger jets, it will sound milder. On a related note, I was able (Lucky) to visit the last Edelbrock "Cackle Fest" at his Torrance shop. Like a dummy, I got real close and almost burned my eyes out. Fun Times..

 
I use to go to Lyons drag strip when they had 32 car funny car shows and set in the stands behind the starting line. They had a qualifying time cut off, if your car was running at that set time you could try to qualify. There would be 5 or 6 cars running on the starting pad if you were in those stands it got wild. Good old days. DON~~~

 
if that was only Alcohol & not nitro could it have been "full" tilt or "mostly full" tilt?????  LOL.

Full Tilt because it had a injected small block on Alky with a five speed transaxle and all the top dune cars still had VW's DON~~~
