I think normally the generators and other items like floor jacks are not eligible for discounts. 

They did a 10% sale ends today 7-10. Works for Genny, floor jacks, air compressors. Might be in store only. 

 
Highjacking your thread.. anyone know the fix for surging?? I have a predator 3500 , less than 6 mo old and it has started to surge.. It works, just annoying..other than that, it has been great..

I put a bunch of seafoam and fresh fuel and let it run till its gone

the gas is terrible and clogs the tiny jets

 
You have to run them pretty often (atleast once a month) with a load on them so the jets do not clog up.

yup, take the spark arrestor off and clean it out... will fix everything :)

I run mine 4-5 times a year and it's perfect, but when it runs it will be on for 3-4 days straight.

Its usually caused by the screen/spark arrestor being gunked up... pull the back panel and remove the screw, blow it out and you're good to go. 

 
I will watch the videos too just for the sake of learning. 

Once had a pressure washer surging. SandTrap said to start the motor and stick you hand over the intake a few times making it die. 

Idea is that all that force that normally sucks air into the engine is now sucking more gasoline than usual through the pilot jet, clearing the clog. (assuming its a dirty carb issue)

I didnt try that method but did find it interesting. No tools required. Looked a little closer and the pressure washer had an easily removable pilot jet. They designed the motor so you could pull it out and clean without removing the carb. I didnt realize some carbs had that feature. 

Im still searching for a station in socal that sells non ethonal gas.

 
The "Tru fuel" us supposed to be just gasoline and not foul up carbs.  It would be expensive on a gunny, but i do run it in my lawn equipment.  Plus they have premix and my laziness loves that. 

Fwiw...  I have run this Tru fuel premix in everything regardless of 2 or 4 stroke.  Works pretty well. 

I also put stabil fuel stabilizer in the buggy and genny every spring after the last desert trip.  

 
The stuff at home depot? I know some motorcycle people that posted about finding non ethonal gas at the pump. I think it was AZ. Sent them a message asking where it was again. Some of the members here might live near the town. It for sure was not cali. 

There are websites that list non ethonal gas. But it always just race gas. Not something in the 90octane range for small engines.
