to try to make a long story short-ish..., one of my wifes friends and her husband just passed away.  He had a couple of long guns & we are looking for the value of them, so they can sell them.   Im finding a LOT of variation in what the interwebs is saying these are actually worth in 2022 $.  Any help would be appreciated.  She sent me a few pictures I will try to upload in a minute.  they look pretty nice and well taken care of.  he has not been healthy for a long time Im guessing he has not shot either of them in 30 years.

one is a Remington 700 in 30-06.  it has  a Bushnell scope on it (4x Banner printed on scope).

one is a Browning Citori Over/under in 12G.  the book says 10/73 on the bottom which leads me to think its the year it was published, and knowing him this is correct.

I know not the best pictures I'm doing this remote through my wife....

Along the barrel near the receiver will be the make and model and caliber information. Looks to be a Browning citori 12 gauge over and under. Looking to see what asking prices are on calguns.net is a start.

The Remingtons are bricks,  you won't break it, but they are not crazy like the pre 64 winchester stuff.. probably 500-700ish for the rifle and the O/U will bring 1000-1200 would be my guess.

$700-1200 on the Citori depending on market and buyers.

thanks for the help folks.  I will pass along the information to them.
