Helmet speakers in toddler earmuffs?

Has anyone installed Rugged Radio's helmet speakers in child's earmuffs? We're a couple seasons out from doing it as she's only 22 months at this point and it would be a "listen only" setup.
My thought against it is that cutting out some foam to make room for the speaker would lessen the sound protection.
I love how much she enjoys being in the rail.
Every time we walk into the shop she points at it "buggy"

The make a kids headset, although I'm not sure how much smaller it is. They really need to make a behind head set to help keep them on. They tend to fall off my son with his neck collar on.

Easiest thing has been a speaker set in a full face light weight mtb helmet.

I just made these for my 3 year old they are substantially smaller than a standard set and a little smaller than the rugged kids set.

I did the same thing for my son. Used a helmet kit in kids earmuffs. But I made mine without a mic.
