Getting into growing my own veggies this spring and this place has all the stuff I probably dont need, but alot of the stuff would make this easier.

Any goods or bads about the place?

Chicks dig it. My wife and all her friends, and my daughter order from there, they usually get stuff for super cheap that they are happy with, and only occasionally get something shitty.

its the really cheap Chinese garbage, some of it works but most of it is one use and toss it on the fuk it bucket.  i bought some cheap led lights and some reflective tape.  The light worked ok and the reflective tape of not reflective. It all comes tossed in a plastic shopping bag and gets beat to chit on the ride across the ocean.  After all that you will be flooded with emails from them multiple times a day, i had to block their addresses i was so tired of seeing them.

very similar to wish.com and allibab.com, they really feel like china scam sites

Forced child labor, directly tied to the CCP, spying on data, and nothing but counterfeit crap. There's a reason they sell things for a loss on that site. Your data is worth more.

Struck me as 100% Chi-Com operation. Hard pass for me.

my daughter likes little arts and crafts. we get stuff on there for alot cheaper than going to michaels or hobby lobby. i dont see any difference in the stuff we get on there compared to the stuff at michaels for alot more money.  that is the extent of what we buy on there.

A definitely pass for me and every time I hit the website it wants me to go to the app to have me sign up lol!, NO thank you Chinese junk....

Bingo.

I've bought a good bit of stuff off there, it's sort of like harbor freight where there are some great deals on decent stuff but you have to be logical and keep your expectations realistic. A coworker that got me hooked on temu got in to gardening and hydro gardens, he has bought several things off there and has generally had great luck with their stuff. DEFINITELY turn off notifications as they will drive you insane, but otherwise I'd recommend it for a cheaper Amazon alternative. I've actually found the same things on Amazon several times, same pics and descriptions and all, and used the Amazon reviews to decide whether to buy.
