Had some police action at my shop the other day

So I have had a parts car in front of my shop for a while and a homeless guy and girl have been taking advantage of using it for their abode. We lock it often but somehow they keep getting in. Well one time they opened a door really hard and put a 5” dent in another cars fender. So the other night I was closing down the shop at 5:30. Sitting on my coach and I see the guy through my shop doors go into the car. I say what the heck I’m calling the police. Some time they take 2 hours but who knows. Anyways I tell them that I don’t want to approach the car cause he could be armed. Well 10 min later he exits the car and walks to a small shopping center/strip mall. Oh man, cops aren’t here. Well 2 min later two cop cars pull into my shop. I tell them they are too late but as I tell them I see the guy across the street. T shirt, blue jeans, back pack bald head. One cop leaves my parking lot in a little rush to other side of the street (island in between the two sides) then….,,,, 

 
Then another cop comes down another street so they will come at him from both sides of the building. Then two more cops come at full speed hauling down the street. The next thing I see is a cop chasing the guy on foot. Now another cop comes with a k9 barking then a few more cops come. In all 8 coo cars the cop took this guy down hard right in the middle of the street on the asphalt. 4 lane road completely blocked. Major on lookers. Then the cops come back to my shop. I asked if he was a bad guy. They said yeah we know him and he’s a bad guy. Homeless and sells drugs. He then pulls up a full laptop screen of the guy on his computer   Is that him?  My mechanic 100% confirmed identity. They said because he resisted he will get some time. If he didn’t it would have been a ticket.

Yikes....  sounds like it could have been much worse... 

 
You are way too nice / I would have thrown in a pepper spray bomb into the car and held the doors shut for as long as possible with ratchet straps  :lol:

Sucks. And sucks when cops wont do anything about it. 
i used to store my toyhauler at families property in alpine 20 years ago. Illegals would break into it pretty much daily. I never kept anything in it so there really was never anything stolen, just effed up locks, windows and door frames. 
i finally just stopped locking it. Didnt have to replace anymore locks. Just had to deal with the occasional turd left in the toilet
