Ground Straps

I noticed a few cars last week running ground straps.  What are the benefits? Would it help with the coms? car to car?

i run two on my sxs and yeah i get the look and point all the time.  I find it cuts down on the dust sticking to my Ride Command screen, but the rest of the car is a mess.   It just might be the placebo effect, i read alot online and there are studies that show it works and some that say its bologna.

thats so funny I did same last season and had  every trip people pointing  and saying you are dragging something .I noticed zero difference in anything  but had the added stress of wanting to tell people I purposely had something dragging anytime anyone looked at my car

What makes you think it's rubber?

They are typically made of a woven conductive metal.  See it all the time on city buses to eliminate static charge of the vehicle.
