Anyone find an effing grease gun and fitting that does not spew the grease all around the zerk, and that does not have the grease migrate past the seal when using as a bulk loader.  Just had to reload Maxima in my gun, and when withdrawing the plunger I found half the grease had migrated past the seal in the inside.  Not sure of the make, but it was the most expensive one at the parts store.  Guess I need to buy somewhere else, but don't want to have do this again when the next one does not work properly.

Lock,n,lube has a great lock on fitting. ***Edited to say:Their grease guns look like high quality also. They have some innovations like a bleeder valve that doubles as a tip storage. As you bleed the tool, grease that finally primes the system is pushed back into the canister. I haven't used one but the product seems well made.

We use an 18V model at work and it is great aside from pushing grease past the nipple. I can't wait to put the lock n lube tip on the end.

I have been using the Lock and Lube Pistol grip  - its really nice and still dirty like all grease guns - but its light and easy to hold and it mostly always stays on.

I have been looking at going electric - when I have air ready I  am still using Pnuematic  its smaller and lighter than the electric from what I have seen - they seem clumsy and huge ?

Grease guns I know. I grease equipment everyday.
The best manuel grease gun I have found is the Alemite 500, and I have been through A LOT of grease guns.  This one doesn’t seem to give up.

If you want a battery operated grease gun, I have had good success with the Lincoln 18v, although I am about to buy a Milwaukee grease gun. My brother bought one and loves it. For as much as I grease, having a few doesn’t bother me. But they are pricy and not worth it if you’re not using it everyday.

Regardless of the actual grease gun, all mine have the lock-n-lube tips. They are worth their weight in gold.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the advise all.  I bought the Lock-N-Lube and am very happy with it.  The gun seems good, but the fitting is awesome.  Greasing is not the dreadful chore it was for sure.

if you leave any grease gun for a long time the grease seem to get around the plunger and spring. the grease guns i leave in the toy trailer i leave them with the rod pulled out and locked withoul pressure on the grease. lock and lube does make a great gun and coupler

My Milwaukee 18V seems solid, have had it for 3 years now, you can also set it for auto and walk away , there is a dial on the side to set out much grease you want when you lock the trigger, seems pump the Certified Labs Extreme grease with no issues,

I just bought the Milwaukee M18 and haven't tried it yet. Been looking at the Lock and Lube tip also. Sounds like it will be a good addition to the gun.
