Got daughters?

Daughters? Kids in you life in general.

I don't have any kids. My wife has two adult children that are assholes and never come around. I do have nieces and nephews though. They're awesome. Sucks for me they all live on Maui. Expensive to see the boogers...

I thought for sure this was gonna be that father daughter Glamis deal.. I want to goto that.. but I don’t want to leave my son..

So then it would be me and the kids. No wife? We would starve lol

Now she’s a teen and only wants to ride horses. 🙁

My wife has one of my daughters doing volunteer work at this little mini ranch north of Havasu.. and now Both my daughters goto this horse ranch to learn how to lead and ride horses.. I told her she is playing with fucking fire, and no matter what I'm not interested in owning a horse.. LOL. They are expensive as shit, and I don't know anything about them.

They also have a fucking mind of their own… Nope. I’ll ride mechanical steeds only.

I just tell my daughter that as soon as she regularly mucks the neighbors’ stalls for them, we’ll think about it.

My daughter was the opposite, the horses were first then came the dunes. Her transition to the dunes was a massive pay raise for me! Some of the greatest memories created by both activities but the dune camping and riding were my favorites.

My youngest daughter has the Greatest Story. No One can tell her Story. She started out on a Yamaha 90 4-wheeler. Taught her the small dunes right around camp. She knew the transitions, the lay of the land. Next step YFZ 450R. Follow Dad! When we arrived on TOP of China Wall for a beverage stop, I was so proud of her. She pulled off her helmet and was crying her eyes out. She was so terrified. Can you imagine what she experienced? From the little bowls around camp to the massive bowls. From a 90 to a 450. Maybe Dad should have taken the gradual steps? I put her behind the wheel of the Moho / Trailer heading to Glamis in West TX. Told her to drive to the next exit. Little did I know the next exit was 10 miles down the road. She was Horrified. Guess what? She's a total Badass Today. I didn't read the "How to Parent" manual. Peace
