@dbart Looked empty, I'm sure it wasn't right?
Friday was pretty empty, Saturday and Sunday were packed. I was leading Sunday on Lower Freeman Trail and had a close call with someone coming head on. :scared:

I HATE Leading.

Saturday night a lady came up to our camp...she said she and her friend just rolled. Her friend was driving...first time in her brothers brand new RZR XP Turbo...just got it last week.

We run over to where it happened...was on Driver's side, the girl driving was completely freaked out, her pinky nail was ripped out but the finger was still intact and working. She was in shock and was didn't want to confront her brother.

We all told her it's ok, just cosmetic damage and that she's and her passenger are OK. She asked me if she should go to the hospital. I said she was probably just in shock and asked if anything else hurt besides her finger. She said no...I just told her to try and relax, everything will be fine and not to worry about her brother...this isn't bad at all.

Replace the Drivers side door and some plastic.

We then got it back on its wheels and it seemed fine.

The brother and his son showed up...she immediately started crying and her brother just hugged her and said hey don't worry about it...you OK?

His son said oh this is no biggy, the new cage was just ordered and I can replace the door...This is what I do for a living.

All in all it was ok, but could have been really bad. People get told from the dealer you can drive this thing flat out and it'll soak up whatever you throw at it... :kenk:

Lesson learned hopefully.

Glad it was not a bad accident, cool you guys were able to help them out.

I read there was a fatality in Dove Springs this weekend, head on between a UTV and Guy on an MX Bike.

People have to chill when your a new driver or its crowed. Pinky Nails grow back most often, they were lucky.

Lucky, but pretty much re-enforces the stereotype of sign and drive, non?  And @dbart describing his "fun" on Lower Freeman while leading makes me not unhappy that I haven't been out there in a decade. See also yore Dove Springs incident.  Yikes   . . .

At least most of the people we came across knew the hand signals so that was a plus!

:lmao:

But seriously, I HATE leading...I'm the guy the does Sweep...I'm usually last.

That way I can cruise my own pace and I know if something is coming up cause it's been announced over radio!
