Brother in law was looking around on Google earth back in 2017 to show someone where we camp. And sure enough. The picture was taken when we were there. Trip out. I think it was 2015 or so.

BIL was looking the other day to see if the picture had been updated. And it had. And it caught our camp agsin in 2023.
Crazy. Because we only make it out once a year.

No signs of us at our spot but this is the exact Palo Verde we camped at from like 2010- 2024. I've felt the vegetation is insane out there the last 2 years we've visited. Google verifies.
I think that crazy rain that formed China Lake changed the landscape.

Ive been taking my kids to the same area to camp, same 2 weeks of the year since 2013. My buddies been camping in this same area since the 80s.
We try to get there mid week. And we have the place to ourselves in late March.
