Has anyone had any issues with endurance trailer tires?  Fall of 19 I replaced all 5 of my tires and have had 2 separations (one causing a blowout) and now a mystery leak that they can't find.

It was down to 40 lbs from 80 so i aired it up last Sunday and it's down 8 lbs in 7 days...

Goodyear tires suck. They all do that it seems like. I've seen literally dozens of light duty (15", 16") GY marathons separate like that. When they do sometimes they'll leak in an indirect path through the cords or only leak under certain circumstances such as when you drive over that spot. Bought a dropdeck a few months ago and it had 2 goodyear marathons on the right rear (22.5"). One blew out and the other was separated and would have blown soon. They appeared to be in good shape and were only 2.5 years old and 16ply. Having the experience with the small goodyears I should have known but I just didn't have any experience with the heavy duty GY tires but that was enough for me.

Thanks for the input.   I heard that about the marathons, but the endurance was supposed to be better...  fwiw, this is a 225-15 with the high load rating.  And they are not maxed out.

My toyhauler i bought new in 2004 had goodyears on it. I blew out about 10 tires in the first year (sidewall separation) all covered under warranty). Finally broke down and replaced all 4 with another brand. No problems after that. I think they were 10 ply maxxis

Check the rims themselves. Are they Chinese steel rims? I had a problem with two of four brand new steel rims from china. The steel had small micro cracks at the safety bead. I welded them up, then searched for USA made rims. Switched them out, and no problem ever since. The endurance tires where not the problem

I had problems with them also. I never had problems with Michelin. When Michelin got to expensive, when you are buying 12 at a time 6 for truck and 6 for trailer I switched to Firestone 12 ply and never had one problem with them. Usually they don't wear out they just get weather checked. When I take them off and they have good tread I sell them to someone who is only using them locally, plus you don't have to pay the fee to the tire store. DON~~~

I looked into Micheline tires and they were almost double of the carslile and 50% more than the Goodyear.

I think I'm just gonna bail on these.. no one is going to step up and handle this.  This is BS.

Still thing the Sailune will work the best, 7 years and no weather checks, I am down to almost no tread, tow around 80-85 all the way to Idaho, and Dumont is mostly around 80 MPH,  has been a great tire,

I just replaced my trailer tires, due to age. I will not use after 4 years. Bought Heartland, 225/75/15. 10 ply and rated to 80 mph. This is the second set of these for me and have had no issues. Also, not expensive, paid 674.00 out the door for 4 tires mounted and balanced from Discount.

I just picked it up and the dude there said they could not find anything wrong.  They replaced the stem.  Cleaned the bead and the wheel. Inspected the tire and wheel. Everything is fine......

We will see in the morning.

It's going to be frustrating when I have to wait for it to blow up to prove there is a problem with the tire.  Guess I should just eat it and get new tires....

Goodyear Marathons are made in China and are junk. Goodyear Endurance are made in USA.

X2 on the Sailuns. I ran them for years and tons of miles with zero issues. Reasonably priced too.

I said a similar problem. Turned out to be a cracked rim

I’ve had good year marathons years ago not impressed also maxxxis we’re the rage my tire guy tried to sway me out of them too. Got 3 years before they began coming apart.

best luck was off brand freestars no issues at 5 years. Now when I buy tires I buy two one year 2 the next cause usually trailer tires seem to all fail at once.

I also check air before each trip I take too.
