Does anyone have a good egay seller to recommend for pulled engines? Preferably one they have used before.

Have you looked at JDM. I have gotton a 3.5 from them for my old buggy. It was a good motor and lasted a long time

I have had 2 jdm engines dead on arrival. Sucks to swap water pumps and full prep, install and then start it and hear knock knock knock. Both were clearly 4-5x’s the mileage they claimed and they didnt warranty because they didnt install

Try to find an oem honda short block that’s in a crate then find some oem heads. Better to spend some more for a piece of mind. I think someone one here has one for sale.

I have heard of the JDM engines. Where is everyone getting the ‘in running condition’ ones from?

Where is a good place to look for OEM honda shortblocks and heads?

The good thing about eBay is no matter who you buy it from you got PayPal protection. I had a subie motor show up in bad shape, the seller didn't want to take it back but PayPal refunded me and paid for return shipping

Thanks! That gives me some hope and will keep looking on ebay.

My buddy ordered a Honda replacement off of ebay and the thing ran great.  Just swapped over the needed parts, bolted up a turbo to it and away he went.  I think he only paid like $400 or something stupid for it.  As long as the seller you're buying from has a good rep you should be fine.
