There was an electrical thread in the last 6 months or so where someone mentioned a good brand of toggle switches. I searched and could not find it. What is the good brand of 12 Volt toggle switches?

Carling is the best I've used but DAMN are they expensive. I just wired my boat with some amazon ones. They feel pretty good, but I don't know if I completely trust them so I wired in a few redundant carling switches for the bilge just in case

Thanks guys! Appreciate the quick responce. The heavy duty 20 amp switch from the local parts store only lasted an hour with a 10 amp lightbar.

I think i would have put a 20 light bar through a relay, but anything less that 15 A I'm going straight though one of them K4 switches.

20 amp switch might only be rated for half that continuous duty. Heat kills switches.

Bro, it’s ‘23.  Be more specific about the toggle switch you need.  One requires surgery.  The other, u can pick up at most hardware stores.

I was referring to the kind of switch that does not require a rusty dull hatchet.

Didn't one of the owners of FiberTech start a "switch" company? I think maybe it was K4??
