Agains most sane peoples advice I decided to tackle this project. The game plan is to swap the Suspension from Gen 3 geometry to Gen 4. Install S4 & Alper 416. Picked up round one parts:

New king 3.0 shocks

New billet upper A-arms

New tube lower A-arms

New spindles

New Funco front hubs

New Funco steering rack

New Funco suspension pivots

New rear air bags & mounts

New Funco door kit

Used set or 934 rear arms

If so, I’ve often wondered why more builders don’t do that to keep the cv angles more level? Guess maybe for ground clearance? ID K

esit post cause I forgot to add pictures

That pic is a new SCU chassis I’m having built. The Funco is the same, see the pic below.  I think it comes down to knowledge and caring about putting out a good product. Don even sent me a pic of the axle angle after mock-up.

Just removing all that grey body paneling made this car look 100x better.

Its moving along, lots of parts gathering but I think I finally have everything I need to finish up. I have an appointment for sheet metal at the end of the month so the fire is burning under my ass to get it ready. The fab work is slow moving but really nice and done right. I picked up my Alper motor last weekend. A buddy picked up the Jettrim seats yesterday. Lots and lots of pieces to the puzzle but it'll be super nice when finished.

It’s moving along. Sneak peek at some tube fitting.

How's the conversion coming along?  I'm dying to see the finished product.
