Four LAC Sheriffs commit sluiced within 24 hour period.

My future son-in-law was with Tustin PD for only 9 months and he quit and is pursuing being an RN like my daughter who just graduated.

It’s a high stress thankless job.

So sad.

Wow.  Good thing he didn't lose too much time in making that difficult decision.

Manditory OT, he was a slave to the job. He has a criminology degree and wanted to eventually become a detective. My daughter does 3 12's and enjoys her work. I think we have to re-think how we treat our law enforcement. They should have more days (paid) for training, physical and all, as well as days were they have it 'easier' like maybe presence at HS sporting events and stationed at schools.

It's because they have to deal with people like this... on a growing basis. The General Public is mostly just self entitled bholes, these days.

Man Bun and Mommy, what a little bitch boy!!!

Every LEO I know is working towards retiring EARLY ASAP to get out before they lose their sanity.
All my buddy's have figured out ways to retire early, only way to survive anymore is to get on special assignments....being on the street every day is terrible way to work.

Sad to see. Wish they would have left and pursued a different career before resulting to killing themselves.
Read that Hemet PD is offering a $60k bonus for lateral officers. Departments are desperate to find people to do the job.

It’s nationwide. One of my engineers was a SA for the FBI. Retired early because the culture around law enforcement has completely changed.

okc pd has a huge shortage. my buddy is a recruiter trainer. he said they are so short, desk jobs are becoming off the street hires, no leo needed, so the ones that have stuck it out to move into a desk job to retire are leaving since the jobs are going civilian. its a S show.

i think he said we are like 300 short right now

They should recruit some of those ODOT a holes.

There's plenty of those clowns and they just jerk each other off all day in between Effin over guys bringing goods and commerce into their state.
