Lost my iPhone 12 black case w American flag at olds today Orin dunes between gecko and olds

please pm me if found / im on my daughters phone typing this

epic dune run for 2.5 hours / forgot to zip pouch in bag in car

sucks!!!

I'm a samsung guy; but doesn't apple have a 'find my phone' feature?

 
We got it!!!!   My son was able to activate sound and location between my daughters phone w gps and it was BURRIED on the way out of olds!!!

took 2 hours bur we got it back

NO DAMAGE!

I dropped my shades between the swingset and cement flats on a sunset ride. Was dark when we got back to camp. I figured screw it. I'm going to go look for them. Jumped on the wife's quad and went on the hunt. Luckily I was riding the atc 70 when I lost them and was able to follow my tracks and found them about mid way.

Lost an air filter off a rail about half way between olds and cement flats.

Another evening sunset ride.

Went out the next morning and found it. Both times were in the middle of the dunes. Not off sand hiway. Everyone in camp thought it was impossible.

I'm not one to give up easily.

 
that is amazing.....  I could drop a 12" crescent wrench in the sand outside my trailer & not be able to find it.  I have to chain the generator to the running board on the truck or it would sink to the bottom of the sand abyss as well.   LOL.

Did you use the GPS in the phone? if so how did you get the GPS from your phone to your daughters phone? It is super neat you got it back. DON~~~

 
many years ago, me and my buddy were out 4 wheeling with our then girlfriends. one had a 20.00 bill and jumped out of the truck in this field by the lake pitch dark in the middle of the night.

we go to buy more beer and she says i lost my money. lets go back. I'll be damned if she didn't find it.

20 plus years later and she's been thru a couple divorces I see her on facebook and message her, and she says do I know you (my fb names not my real name) and I said brown truck, a field and 20.00 and she said yep i know ya lol. 

I can drop a nut and never find the damn thing, in a garage with the door shut lol. never seen again!!

son logged into my account on icloud and I have my daughters phone tracked on that account

He was able to see both dots on the screen and talked to my daughter guiding here to where my phone was telling her ...move a little west....now south.......more south....etc

As he was doing this he activated the beacon sound and we could hear it BUT it was burried ............ with our ears to the sand we were able to get it dug out! it was crazy!!!!

Otterbox and screen protector saved the day....got it back to camp / used the compresser to clean it up and replaced the screen protector / You would never know...ITS PERFECT!!!!
