For all the OG ATC 250R riders.......Rock On !!!!

Are you calling me a BUTTHEAD?

At some point I'll find a nice 85' or 86' ATC250R and have one again.
My step dad is pondering selling his 85’. Pretty clean ride with original wheels and tires. Has a new top end ( all Honda parts) and a pipe and silencer air cleaner kit. He has a brand new OEM rear fender in the rafters for it also. Hi flite seat.

should have never sold this to you Poule :classic_sad: ...crazy that was almost 20 years ago.
AND I should NEVER have sold it to Conrad in AZ !!! I loved that bike!!!!  3 years of pure FUN !

Nice stable...

So the pipe, silencer, air cleaner kit got put on early in its life. Along with the twist throttle. The rear maier rear fender was put on a few years ago as the original had cracks. He bought an OEM Honda rear fender to replace but I wouldn’t let him put it on! The top end was installed about 13 years ago. I wanted to borrow the bike and he insisted I replace the top end before taking it out. I brought the piston and cylinder to Allen Fox and he said to just put rings in it. My step dad wanted it changed anyway so it got a new top end with all Honda parts. So it’s 1 over now. I replaced the chain and sprockets at the time also. It’s been out on maybe 5 rides since this was all done! She is a garage queen. He just put new bars, grips, and I believe fork boots on. Got it all ready for a day trip to Glamis. They parked at Ghecko and tried to ride to the store through the dunes. Made it a couple dunes in and turned back! They said the bikes were too powerful to handle at their age and basically forgot how to ride them! Hahahahaa!!!! Anyways here is a recent pick before the grips and bars.
