One of the biggest RV shows in the country is the Florida RV Super Show. It is in mid-January in Tampa. I’m thinking of flying over to check it out next month. I’m rapidly narrowing in on my short list of favorites to upgrade my Moho. I thought it would be worthwhile to see a bunch of models and ideas all at one time. I’m curious if anyone has been to this show in recent years and what you thought of it? I’m not necessarily going with the intent of buying there, more just to see, feel and touch. There really aren’t any dealers in my immediate area that have the models I’m considering so I’m going to have to travel regardless. Thoughts or input?

I live in Tampa, so I've been to the show a few times over the years, but not in the past couple of years.

It's big.....and jam packed.  The higher end coaches are in an expo hall so it's quiet, no worries about sun or rain, or whatever.

The rest of the stuff is packed in the rest of the fairgrounds.  If they don't have what you want at the show, most of the dealers are within 2 hours drive of the fairgrounds so you can cruise over to check out anything they didn't have room to bring.

I haven't been in the COVID era, so I don't know how that will affect it.  Florida has virtually no COVID restrictions in place as far as masking or distancing, but with supply chain issues and RV's in big demand, I don't know how much inventory they can scrape together.

If you need any other advice about this area, or are coming to the show, hit me up.  I'll meet you for beer and wings or help out with anything else.

Thanks for the info and invite. Looks like I’m not going to make it. With all the current travel nightmares from cancelled flights I think I’m only going to do necessary business travel for the next month or so.
