2023 Z06 vert and 2011 Porsche 911 Turbo that I was flying in to inspect and pay for.  There were others that were stolen as well.

I’m taking it as a sign that I made the right decision to exit the car hobby back in 2010.

Fvck thieves.

Was this in Filthadelphia proper, or one of the outlying 'burbs?

And, yes, eff thieves.

Somewhere is Killadelphia they are for sale “can’t find the title you can file for a lost title it’s super easy”.

"Yore" cars?

Sounds more like cars you were about to purchase perhaps...

Shitty situation and I'd be mad too.

Did you eat any cheesesteak while in town? Best way to salvage a trip to Philly.

I wouldn't take it as a sign, just a typical day in Philly.

Sucks you weren't able to get them before the eff'n thieves did.

Even if they catch the scumbags, which they probably won't, they will only get a slap on the wrist.

C8 Z06 is a badass car.

if they were in philly they were probably stolen in the first place and retagged. its real bad there now and had been for a long time

how do they steal a '23 vette (other than dragging it onto a flatbed)?

Yeah, not exactly my cars.  Thank goodness.

They were in a trailer along with other cars.  They stole the trailer with 6 cars in it.

The cars were not for my use.  I was going to resell them.

Or did they suddenly realize the price on the cars were way to cheap and it's time to reorganize our business plan

Stuff like this is usually planned well in advance... not easy cars to move...unless they already have shipping containers ready.

Shipping containers is the buzz.  Apparently, these types of thefts are not unusual.  I was told stories of cars being stolen directly from dealer lots and they're never found.

Highly doubt it.  The cars were on a transport trailer.  At least three of the cars had been paid for by a private buyer.  My two were contingent on inspection.
