Merry Christmas, bishes!

Love, NASA

Finally!

The blurring is gravitational lensing which is caused by galaxies/celestial bodies bending space time..

Great pics!

Love Space stuff and the exploration of it.

Been following this. The robot talking guy from the Simpsons was working on his thoughts about multiple universes when he died. The recent youtube discussions i watch talk about how the James Webb will be able to prove whether that is true. Some really smart people believe there are multiple versions of you alive right now. The reasoning is because of the numbers. When the numbers are that large it makes the possibilities extremely large as well. To the point it makes more sense that there would be another version of you.

I think this leads to a true understanding. You can have a collection of atoms that form anything. You could form an exact replica of me using atoms. Good chance a carbon atom inside me was once inside of a dinosaur. But then what makes us alive? Why do personality traits seem to pass on even if the child never met the father? I think that leads to what God is. The soul. How can someone get knocked in the head. Go into a coma. Then come out speaking perfect Chinese? Even though they never learned Chinese? I think information travels in the soul. Maybe its hidden within the cells. Ever hear how someone gets an organ donation from another person? The patient hated Ketchup their entire life. Gets an organ from someone who put ketchup on everything. Now the patient likes ketchup too. That would suggest the "soul" information might travel within the cells. Since it seemed to happen from an organ donation. I big clump of living cells from a person with their own unique likes and dislikes. Its as if a tiny measurable part of their personality traveled within those cells.

Oh, I know you do, puteaux!  I'll never forget how excited and giddy you were when Crusty went deep and explored Uranus.  :precious:
About spit out my Diet Coke you Puteaux!

:lmao:

I'm thinking of something funny....I swear I am...just sit there on the edge of your little kiddy chair and wait for my comeback!

:laugh1:

There's going to be a lot of interesting new science and findings over the next 24 months. This telescope's going to be able to tell us if there is biospheres and other life markers where the Hubble couldn't.

The farthest object (light) in the first picture is 13.1 billion years old.. the Big bang was 13.8 billion years ago. think about that.

The Big bang theory is being re thought as we speak.

Another brain Bender. The universe is bigger than we can comprehend. (Regarding the circled Galaxy)

Traveling at the speed of light it would take you 1.5 million years to travel across ONE LARGE GALAXY.

Wait, I though we all stopped believing in science  :classic_blink:
