Started feeling crappy Saturday afternoon. Actually did a full workout same day while I was getting sick.  Achy, chills, runny nose, headache but no fever. Already slightly better today. Daughter is an emergency room pediatric nurse and she is convinced me having the the first two shots and the booster helped. Now I will have the antibodies. Just approx. 6 weeks ago I was WAY sicker than this. 20+ hours to get to Ireland for 12 days. Walked 24 miles the first 3 days in Dublin. Hit the Guiness factory AND a whisky distillery the same day. Drank quite a bit. That was enough for my body to say your completely done. Got so sick and missed a few days of the trip in the car or the room. Time frame was perfect that most likely picked it up one of the plane flights.  Missed this bike ride which sucked.

I’m glad you were able to make your trip.  The wife came back from Mexico and a couple days later has COVID.  A week later I get the Covid and we end up canceling our Alaska cruise/trip. Fortunately we had the travel insurance so it didn’t cost anything.  I lost 10lbs had all of the systems and had a bad temperature.  I’ve been sleeping on the other side of the house away from her.

Glad you guys enjoyed your trip, my wife has been under the weather for 4 days and tested negative all 4 days and is positive today , no symptoms for me yet but I know its coming. Hope you feel better soon!

My daughter says it is common to test negative the first few days and then positive. 3 days is common. My wife has been remote for years now with her job. Since Covid started, how ever long that is. Today was the first day of her going in and training 16 people in a classroom setting vs the normal virtual. Of course we had not received my positive test yet. They have now sent those 16 people home to quarantine and my wife is back home training remotely again. What a cluster. 'Sheesh.  Still feeling pretty darn crappy but I know how much worse it can be. One of our employees at the shop lost his life this year to Covid. Still having a hard time wrapping my head around it.

Glad you're doing ok. Does anyone else find it a little bit funny when someone says "Got Covid...glad I got the vaccine and the booster or it could be worse!". Nobody ever questions the fact that they got the "vaccine" and the booster shots but still got Covid.

I find it annoying and laughable. The vax was supposed to keep people from getting it. The booster was supposed to keep from getting it. But when neither worked 'they' changed the narrative to say if you do get it after the vax it won't be as bad.

Glad I stood my ground and refused to get the vax.

Crusty be like, “give me Covid 8x!”.

Yep, Personal choice by everyone. I have two kids in the health care field and grilled them back when. It was still a hard choice.  Don't ever remember it being you will never get Covid. More like it improves your chances to either not get it or gives you a better immune response if/when you do. I am happy with MY decision to get the shots and booster. If you find it annoying I guess that is your problem.  :classic_blink:  I do know my daughter just said there are a lot of cases right now.

Unvaccinated still die at a much higher rate

The share of deaths among vaccinated people has risen, but the rate of death is still many times higher among unvaccinated people. In January and February, unvaccinated people died at about seven times the rate of the fully vaccinated and 20 times the rate of people with boosters, according to a study of deaths among the vaccinated from 23 state and county health departments.

Just to be clear, it wasn't my intention to criticize your choice to get the shot...to each their own.

What was touted worldwide was it protects from symptomatic illness by 95%.

That to me says it prevents 95% of covid.

This was stated on day 1 and repeated endlessly. When that number started nosediving, they changed the narrative saying it prevents a certain % of death which as any layperson understands, is impossible to determine.

Just a quick google search and this was the first article. Many have been scrubbed, but this one was 1st page google. https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-021-01505-x

It is funny how people seem to forget the timeline when so much misinformation is spewed on the internet and social media.

Here is another funny fact, did you know that even as of today you nor I can get the FDA approved "vaccine"?
There is no FDA approved vaccine, right? The only vaccines available are approved for emergency use only.

Glad I held out too. Glad you’re doing fine. Many aren’t. 966ECE69-78FC-449A-A40C-B8EEE6659562.pngF34635E9-16E4-4D18-B326-982FD0C219CB.jpeg08FA5845-FA75-4E08-8F0A-A3A6C9233AB1.png

These adverse reactions are way under reported. Here’s something else to think about. If the vaccine is so safe, why does it have immunity from lawsuits?

Read this the other day  “The vaccine (not a placebo) should have been tested on the politicians first. If they survive, the vaccine is safe. If they don’t , then the whole country is safe.

@onanysunday hope you are doing well and recovering quickly.

as far as the “data” being pointed to, it’s all hogwash, highly adulterated in order to sell you a bill of goods. Govt agencies are all in on it, they are bought, compromised, not to be trusted. Hi, I’m from the government and here to help...

Western European countries are beginning to abandon mRNA jabs. In short because they don’t work. You get some protection from the original variant at the cost of future immune suppression and systemic diseases. As the virus mutates it just does so around your protection. This was known along and they did it anyway. They get to keep selling shots without liability, then when people get disease they get to treat them as well. It’s a two-fer-one money-making scheme.

Real data is coming out like it or not, it cant all be suppressed. It paints a pretty damning picture. The more shots you get, the more you destroy your immune system and the More likely you are to get Covid. In aggregate of course, we are all but a %slice of the total.

So OAS even though we’ve never met, I’m still suggesting you get off the booster train as soon as possible. There are mountains of real data that are screaming that this is a terrible idea for your health and longevity.
