finally got bead stiffeners for my wife's Mercedes

As you know my wife cracks her Mercedes rims all the time, she has cracked each one at least two times, she drives this thing like an offroad car, dropping off to a small dirt road to my house and some gravel roads, it cracks me up (no pun intended)  anyways i had some 3/8" thick aluminum to have cut so i designed up a stiffener ring to stop the inner bead from cracking and cut all my pieces out inside these 4 rings so it was cheap!

It missed the shock tube by 3/8”. The worst tire was only 1 ounce each side. The other one was .5 and 1 ounce out. Fantastic. Ready for off roading

 
it was 38 sticks of 1/8" rod or 95' used, no animals were hurt during this exercise 

now waiting for rear tires to need replacing and do it all over again

Add some anti-seize to the hub-centric ring so you don't have to hammer the wheels off next time... :biggrin:
