I would love to see employers strike some revenge here.  All minimum wage, minimum required benefits, all drug tested...

It would take a while but people are going to get hungry real fast.

 
Watch crime continue to rise. Especially since you won't be charged with petty theft. It's going to get real ugly, baton down the hatches!!! You haven't seen anything yet.

Ford told me to basically pound sand.  Definitely taking it out of their hindquarters for a credit.

Had help wanted ads up since last year for a commercial pool service man with basically zero response so finally took them down. Put them back up last month to see if any better response. Got one good reply. Guy had experience, good record, seemed great. Got all excited and brought him in for interview. He claimed he was doing pools for another company and getting $75k salary plus company truck and fuel. Seemed like pure BS but he did say they were working him 60hrs a week and that's why he wanted to change. Offered him $50k salary plus truck and fuel for basically a 40 hour week. He basically laughed in our face and walked. 

Morale of the story- everybody better get ready to pay a whole lot more for everything

Yep.  The $25 and down jobs, most just collect unemployment anyway since they can work side-hussles and collect unemployment.  I have a bunch of senior guys doing 75% of the install along with some of their college-age kids who are getting experience learning a trade while getting paid more than their friends will after their Sociology degree results in a hotel clerk job or bank teller...    

 
CARES ends, moratorium on evictions ends, what else?  

I want to see dems show their colors to their fan base and watch all the liberals deal with betrayal.  Let the whole thing BURN.

Uh, no.

They will just increase the disability rolls by the millions like they did 10 years ago....remember??

We are still paying for all those "disabled" people - and if you don't know me, stfu right now. I actually have TWO sons who are legally blind AND hearing impaired so I am in no way ragging on those who are "truly" disabled. Just the ones that the 2008-2016 administration threw on there to keep unemployment numbers low.

 
We ended that crap here in Utah months ago.

STILL have help wanted signs up all over the place.

Didn't seem to help at all.

I knew before there were a LOT of people who didn't want to actually work.

Some tried to hit the lotto, some tried to make it happen with picking up a partner who had $$, some just tried to scam the system - welfare, disability, etc.

I have no idea how we are keeping all these people housed and fed - and housing here has doubled over the last few years it seems. Groceries are getting there too...

I feel bad for anyone trying to get "quality" employees these days to keep their business running.

Bought a place in southern UT. Was up there last week and it was weird to see drive throughs closed and restaurants half full with lines all due to understaffing.

My local In & Out Burger had a sign up today.. 17.00 - 20.00 Hour to start!!! 

That is good money!!

Our toyhauler is on property south of here (Fillmore).

Stopped to grab something to eat on the way out of town (to go home) last weekend - and the manager locked the door to the lobby for the same reason right after we walked in.

And, not that it is a "great" job, but you would think with the fact that there are less jobs overall down there that they would have people wanting to work there.
