One of my favorite movies is "No country for old men".  Kind of a weird movie, but interesting.  It's simple and didn't need all kinds of AI to make it good.  Just good acting with an interesting story.

Anyone have any other suggestions like this?

Openheimer was AWESOME....go see it if you can!!! Just AWESOME

Good Fellas

If I remember right....No Country for Old Men had an odd ending where you don't know if the "Baddie" got away or not.

Open range-  with kevin costner and robert duvall

Lonesome dove series (1,2,3) -

someone ran a red light & T-Boned him & broke his left arm below the elbow. He bought a shirt from a kid on a bike to make a sling then walked off up the street before the cops could get there.

Little juvenile, but I really liked the movie and the plot twist of 'Usual Suspects'

I also liked 'A time to Kill' - early Matthew McConaughey movie.

I love that movie and the plot twist. I rewatch it anytime it is on and look for the clues.  Same thing with Fight Club.

right now Im into the movies that have unexpected twists.  the whole slew of "Jack Ryan" kind of action movies, while entertaining, are completely predictable.  I enjoy the hell out of a good guy VS bad guy movie, but.............

I remember seeing Saw & The six sense thinking @ the end........... well that was unexpected.

Heat, bank robbery downtown shootout, crank up the surround sound and listen for Val Kilmer popping off those 308s
