Against my better judgement I bought a 2015 F150 Lariat 4x4. It was a great deal or so I thought. I fixed all of the issues I could find. Again “or so I thought “ Went outside yesterday to get my mail and noticed a big puddle under the truck. Turns out it was coolant. Tracked it back to some crazy Y fitting That is connect to the radiator and the top end of the motor. I Can honestly say I’ve never seen this set up before. Since discovering the puddle I have read that it’s an issue common to that year. Has anyone here had any success with aftermarket parts? If so I would appreciate a point in the right direction. Since I still owe on it taking it out to the desert and putting it out of its misery is not an option. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I fixed that on my father in laws 2013 5.0 f150. It’s the o rigs inside that coupling that go bad. I think you may be able to just change the o rings without getting the whole y piece. I remember it being a fairly easy job.

Had similar with our Edge.  Easy fix, replaced with new updated part.  Probably coolant time anyway.

It's not just in the trucks, we had a V6 Fusion that was leaking from that Y connector as well... it's a Dorman part and can be had @ Orielly's for a few bucks.
