I was just there two weeks ago visiting friends. It’s a whole different world. The people who live there want this. They show their vaccine cards with pride and think it’s the best thing in the world. Everyone there loves their masks too. I had to basically get smuggled into a bar since I’m not vaccinated. Place is effed. No need to go back anytime soon. 

 
San Jose sucked 2 weeks ago, "Clear" was the AP they want everyone to use for an eVAX Card....very intrusive, big brother-ish type AP...screw that.

The article talks about not needing any form of ID......just use your Smart Phone....no harm there right? :sarcasm:

 
SF is a total wasteland.  I work in Palo Alto and keep an apartment here, unfortunately.  When I tell people that, they say things like "oh, awesome, you must go to The City all the tiiiiiiiiiiiime."  First, it's not "The City" it's a shithole-dumpster-fire-needle-dump called San Francisco.  Second, I avoid it at all costs.  San Jose is much, much nicer, at least as far as CA "big" cities go.  SJ polices differently, and their downtown looks clean and relatively safe, as compared to SF.  I still don't got to DTSJ much either, only for Sharks games really.

I had kids young and although I'm almost 50 have done very little traveling. Besides the desert stuff I've only been to..  

Kauai (and other HI islands) 2-4 weeks/year

Aruba (1 week honeymoon) 2003

Greece (Oct. 2019 16 days)

Mexico (a lot when I was 18-22)

Pennsylvania (1 week business trip)

West Virginia and DC (1 week for a wedding)

Nevada, Utah and AZ.. (very briefly, mostly driving through).. but that's it.. I've never been anywhere  else. 

Never been to NY, Texas, FL, Mass.. etc. etc. .. or any other country for that matter. The way things are now, I have no desire to go to a lib state.. so guess I'll never see NY. 

Only like 14-20 kids under 12 (who had no pre-existing conditions) have died from COVID-19 (out of like 56 or 76 million, forget the number)... there is NO reason to vaccinate the young.. there's no science to back it.. AND.. you can carry and PASS COVID if you're vaccinated.. so it's POINTLESS!

Ugh.. .

Never been to San Fran... and now less desire to ever go.  People were talking about it being a bum infested shithole 10+ years ago.

It's not just Frisco.........Staples Center - I've taken my 4 year old daughter to several Kings games this year - all children have to show proof of Vax or test to get in.  She's not getting vaxed or tested.........but I've got around it.  Total BS.  

 
I'm in quite a few groups that have these liberals in the Bay area and every single day my jaw drops how insane they are. They all talk about science and history when all they know is emotion and hate

Its incredible to me how much the bay area crowd  .... and I see this in Cupertino and not just SF although to a lesser degree .... WANT to be told what to do.  Somehow its an Elitist Badge of honor to be told how to live - they want to be different  and they enjoy being able to tell other people they are doing it wrong and how bad FLA and TX are. If they were told to cut off your Pinky in order to live longer and FLA and TX aren't,  it would be a no brainer - they would do it in an instant.  SHEEP - STUPID SHEEP
