electric trailer dolly

that one looks like you wire into your onboard battery.  its a permanent dolly & tongue jack all in one.  Kind of a clever idea.

Mine is uber close as well.  what makes it more complicated is that its uphill & not even close to level.  some of its on concrete & some of its on rocks.

I made one that ran on 115V & had 2 rather large knobbie tires.  it worked "OK" on a flat surface in the dirt, but there was just too much going on, on the side of the house for it to work.  primarily it did not have enough TQ to push it uphill, on the rocks (even though I gear reduced the chit out of it with the chain/sprockets).

there are a bazillion of them if you google electric trailer dollies.

I guess my point is that location is going to play a big part of your success.

I use a Power Caster 120v electric dolly to move a 28 foot 8500 pound enclosed trailer with about 850 pounds of tongue weight. Works awesome and is built like a tank but expensive!!

Mine is a 18' carson car hauler, so pretty light. I just need to put it in a small garage that doesn't have room to jack-knife a truck/trailer to get it in. This might be perfect for what I need. I also usually have to push my jetskis around. Could be a good 2 for 1 use.

I previously had a Parkit360 dolly rated for up to 10k. It worked really well but was a bit difficult to get it to turn if you got close to weight limit with a lot on the tongue. It had a handle that you pulled from side to side to turn it. With a heavy trailer you had to muscle it around to turn if standing still.  I recently bought the bigger Parkit model they call the Transformer which is good for up to 15k. It has dual motors and turns like a skid steer by putting one motor forward and the other in reverse. And it's nice because it is a wireless remote. It moves my 32' enclosed loaded with no problem. The only issue is the thing was STUPID expensive.

I hooked this SuperHandy electric trailer dolly up to my boat and trailer (3500lbs) and drug it out of the garage and downside yard no problem. batteries came fully charged. yes, you have to pay attention to how much power you use on the switch and yes it will lift and move around on you but with no issues whatsoever. made my life EASY!!! if you just hit full power on the switch it's going to spin all day on you. I barely use the power and move it no problem. the angle finder on my side yard said 4 degrees incline and absolutely zero issues. I also have a tandem trailer and it maneuvers it around with ease.

Is that the $1300 model?

I also have the PC-3 and it works great.
For another $2k I bought a 5k lb forklift and it does a lot more than just push trailers around. Not my exact machine but same model.
