Electric 18-wheelers are even stupider than electric cars

The problem is this is speaking with logic, commen sense and actual knoweldge of the industry. Those pushing this, and more importantly those eating up these changes and "feeling better" about themselves, don't care about those facts.

Laughing as the hydrogen fuel cell technology improves daily.  Infrastructure is being built and fuel cell rigs are starting to move product in and out of major trucking transfer locations..

Come on hydrogen.

My buddy bought one of the Toyota Mrai's and there's very few places he can go to get fuel. He will be happy to hear the infrastructure is growing.

i don't think any shop will want to work on a hydrogen vehicle and once there are a few accidents the insurance company's won't want to insure them either.

Takes enormous amount of power to operate electrolyzers to produce hydrogen.

Just like with the electric cars there is a niche they can fill and be great at. Being the long haul or cross country alternative to combustion would not be one of those things.

Did not read the article above but had a couple local haulers in my yard last week with electric day cabs. Both of them had nothing good to say about them. Zero room in the cab and a pain with having to watch your range even driving local all day.

I would love a chance to hit the throttle just once at 80,000# just to feel the acceleration. I here the power is amazing.
