ECO Tech Durability

I am planning on getting another rail.  I have access to a 2.2 EcoTech that runs real well, but it has a blown headgasket.  The owner says that because of that, it is not worth fooling with.

Wat you tink?  (what do you think?)

Worth it for him, apparently not.  If it's free, it may be worth it to you.  $100 or so in gaskets and getting the head decked.

The motor ran good, it was in my daughter's car.  I took one look at it and said, screw-it, taint fixing it.  I've worked on a rail before, an hour long job in a car only takes about 10 minutes, so, the HG would be about 1,000 times easier to do.

I sold it to a guy that fixes Grand Prix, Grand Ams, Olds and etc of that body style.  When he's done, I could get it back for scrap prices...and he has another out of a Cavalier.
