Arrived mid day wed and had all of pad 4 to pick from. 4 rigs, 5 bubbies massive amounts of oak to burn. Some pieces 50* #. Brought 200 gallons of fuel for two buggies took a quick hot lap wed night

Thursday morning ride was great but Thursday afternoon started with a broken front King Kong spindle (not my car)

Being a Funco that was easy to air down and drive out. He jumped in my car and we continued. Then close to comp we had an all star car break both 1/2 bolts holding his tie rods to the rack took the rack out and back to camp to extract bolts and get new hardware. Went back in dark. Installed the rack and started way back to camp. Another car dies. Loses all power. Only lights work. Diagnosis after checking power at relays, ignition switch was a connector had a pin back out cutting ign switch power to motor east fix and back at camp

Next morning, Friday we dine to joe fab and we welds on another spindle we are heading back towards comp to see the redbud set up when the all star car gets behind another car that almost got stuck in super soft virgin sand. He backs down the hill on flat ground and tries to move and buried it to the frame he never gets stuck

Then we go to the starting line if the red Bull race fit a photo op bring the fixed spindle back to camp and install

We gear up for one of our favorite rides to duners diner for lunch. 5 buggies one razor. The all star car gets a broken front A arm bolt. Easy fix at duners. Then leaving duners 1 mile outer one car breaks an outer cv joint. We leave him and drive back to camp. His son drives back with flat bed and picks him up while we go on the fastest dune ride of the trip. It was awesome. 4 buggies going at it. End up at sunset

Hell yeah! Still beats a day at home. No lie tho, riding on king kong spindles makes me nervous 😬 

 
Well at least you are in Glamis..

Unless you are showing the wrong pics, that is not an AllStar car. Doesn’t look anything like my steering rack, front shocks don’t mount like that and it says Wicked on the side of the car??

 
Sounds like work to me. I'd love to have that job. Peace
