Now that Im back to riding desert with new SXS, Im looking for a budget pumper helmet. Went to Ocotillo for a few days with a large group and damn if your not leading you are Fkd. I dont ride desert often but next time I want to be prepared. So dont need anything crazy just something to get by. What do you suggest for a helmet.

HJC helmet from PCI flows the most air and decent price. ALL of the pumpers are the same, i have tried them all.

What he said... HJC's are not bad.... you can spend 800 and get really light helmets... our HJC's are good for us.

I bought new HJC helmets for me and the wife from PCI at the SSSS. Pumper with speakers and mics wired and all ready to go. They even shipped them to me for free
Have you tried the S&B helmet pumper? I have the RR Mac pumper and I'm not very impressed.

Yeah but not worth the bank for a once or twice a year trip.
