I work w/a lady that drag races.....she says that they use Dawn dish soap as a flat-sealer.  Their slicks are similar to paddles (paper-thin sidewalls and light construction)  Anybody ever heard of that?

She had not heard of starch being used as a sealer.

We used to wipe it inside of slicks and then mount them. That was the end of it.

DePending on the tire they got tubes, and we only ran MT real rubber tubes.

This has worked for me over the years especially on beads. I recently tried it on my 15 yr old paddles with leaky sidewalls and it did not work. I had to get a tube.

Coolant, good ol green Prestone

Just a few oz's per tire works pretty well

33 x15 STU Blasters    32OZ of StaFlo per tire and wala....no leaks    also did one of the ams zippers on the atc 70 with 8 OZ and worked like a charm  since I can't get the alumiseal anymore.

All Good and only $3.97 per 64 OZ Bpttle at walmart

:poule:

I’ve thought about using Stan’s as well. But cost per oz doesn’t make sense when Sta-Flo is so cheap and works well.

Just remember that a lot of the sealants can be very corrosive to aluminum wheels, might work great in your wheelbarrow but don't need that surprise next time a tire has to come off the buggy or sxs 😳
