My wife calls them Oscar...as in Oscar the Grouch from Sesame Street.
They look like a Trash Dumpster.
LOL
Every time we see one, "Hey there's Oscar!"

:)

They are soooo stupid looking. I can’t figure out why someone would purchase such an ugly shoebox to drive around. Maybe if in 50 years that was the style, but even then, geeeeez they are hideous.
I guess it proves that even if you have money you don’t have taste or good sense.

They are pretty fast though. I know all about acceleration with my Ram Turbo Diesel and my Armada V8, but one day I saw a cyber truck go full throttle from a stop light and I have never seen that kind of acceleration on the roadways with a 4 wheel vehicle.

I guess the fact that they are bullet proof may have saved a few lives in Vegas. If you watch the video the explosion goes straight up instead of outward.

Okay. Shit is getting weird:

A decorated U.S. Army soldier believed to be the person killed in an explosion in a Tesla Cybertruck outside the Trump hotel in Las Vegas suffered what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, officials said Thursday.

The vehicle, which erupted into flames early Wednesday outside the Trump International Hotel, was rented to Matthew Alan Livelsberger, a master sergeant in the U.S. Army's elite special forces unit and resident of Colorado Springs, officials told NBC News.

When the truck exploded, the LV air space went into a lockdown and smaller private aircraft were rerouted to other airports. Couple military jets screaming around for a while also.

Our compaines helos were known to ATC and were allowed to enter space and land. Very strick instructions.

I don't get it either, but the wife and I on our way home from Vegas last Saturday morning we counted 25 CyberTrucks by the time we got back home in Anaheim Hills.....it was crazy how many we counted and I'm sure we missed a few....we were like WTF!!!
And they're not a cheap ride....I just don't get it??

I like the way many of my liberal friends point to waning Tesla sales as a sign their idiotic protests are "working"...

While ignoring the fact that the only actually new Tesla product is that hideous troglodyte of a "truck".

Also sales are down because there are more choices of electric cars that are built better and cost less.

I think ALL EV sales are in the tank.....the fad is over...due to reality finally set in....and the idiot car manufacturers not making EV charging universal like at every gas pump...what were they thinking all coming up with different charging connections and different charging stations etc....idiot level 10!!

The power grid can't handle an all EV state. People are finally figuring out a hybrid is the better way to go. You can take road trips and no worry about running out of battery.

Over the summer my friend was driving back from Vegas in 110 degree heat. He said the Tesla owners were driving with windows down and no a/c trying to conserve battery life.

Yep. The "I have to have 300 miles of range!" thing is dumb. You're carrying around 1,000 extra pounds all year for the 4x a year you need the range...

Granted, hybrid means you're carrying a gas engine around all year for the 4x a year you need the range, but that's a lot lighter (250-300lbs).

Good news for Pirus owners is Tesla drivers have taken the top spot for the worst drivers on the road. LMAO!!!

Cyber truck is a joke and it's not like Tesla has anything else in the product pipeline. Over all sales are dropping in every region, and Full Self Driving / Robo Taxis aren't gonna happen. Meanwhile, Tesla's (and Elon's) brand favorability has cratered, Elon seems to have checked out of the CEO role and doesn't appear to have intention of trying to turn them around. Gonna be interesting to see what happens when the next quarter's earnings report comes out.
