Cyber monday deals...Home D, Amazon

I have a 5gal propane tank that will leak at the handle if you open it fully. Was really hard to hear. Using it for the blackstone too so there is an open flame 1 foot away. I stopped using that tank and need to pay the extra amount for an exchange at lowes next time i do a round of filling.

Other day i removed a dryer to clean the lint trap and could smell gas. Used soapy water and couldnt find a leak anywhere. Made me wish i had a little detector just to tell me nope, youre tripping there aint a leak. The leak could always be internal behind the dryer panel. I could only test the exterior hose. I was with the home owner and he didnt seem to care so i said ok, we dont see bubbles lets move on.

you shouldn't have to pay extra, just exchange it, they have to test each one when the propane company gets it back, its built into the price.

Correct thanks man.

Its about $3.50 a gallon to fill my existing tanks. Sometimes i will score used tanks for free but they're super old and crusty. I take those to Lowes and ask nicely to pick out the best looking tank i can find.

Last time there weren't very good choices. Tank looked new and painted but the valve was all weathered looking.

A lot of the Amazon deals are bogus. They will claim the product is 50% off but come back tomorrow or next week and the product is roughly the same price.

Easy to spot if its an item you bought before.

I need some new waterproof boots. Not really for hiking. Mostly shoveling and yardwork. Any recommendations?

Amazon claims this is a 50% off price. But walmart has the same thing at the same price and its not a cyber monday deal.

Thought about going the super expensive route. Rain is coming Friday i need something to stomp around in the mud.

2 weeks ago i used my additas running shoes. The kind with all those ventilation air holes.

We get the flash floods here. Really need to get a tractor. Im out there with a shovel each year. Lose the battle every single time. The power of water is amazing.

My favorite it watching the flash flood start if i happen to be there at the time. Crazy how the river just.....starts. Manageable at first. I try to direct its path. Eventually gets so big all the work i did previously was worthless. River grows and makes it own path. Havnt learned my lesson yet. You at least have to try!!

We wore inexpensive rubber rain boots for many years. No need to overthink it unless you will be working in them for many hours and many days in a row.

Got busy yesterday. Woke up at 3am this morning and remembered i forgot to order things in my cart. Darn would have taken 30 seconds.

I did blow $140 on a flashlight so thats good enough for ridiculous Black friday type spending.
