Anyone had a new trailer built lately? 24' with 4' RV tow tongue, extra wide opening, torsion drop door, fuel station, etc?

Dont need a stacker, 50000000w stereo, or a stripper pole (miss that trailer), but curious what people are paying these days for a setup like this.

Varies widely depending on quality of build, type of material and options you choose. I just had a 26’ Intech wide body built. They are arguably one of the best builders today but you pay for it. I got quotes from others for steel trailers and they were only about 15% less so I went for the better build.

I had a new 20ft trailer built by Marjon trailer. Turns out they use Fractal to build it. Anyway I went with rubber coin floor and an 80 gal fuel station. It was 16k

Anyone remember Callen trailers in El Cajon 30 years ago. I owned two at different times. 2” x 4” frames, 1” square tube walls and roof. Very simple yet sturdy to last 40 years. No amenities storage only. Super light weight and no maintenance.
I am thinking about maybe starting a company to build this again.

My 28’ sport with fuel, water and handful of upgrades was $35k. I bought a 20’ Universal with just coin floor for $14k. The quality difference is night and day. “You get what you pay for” is especially true in the enclosed trailer business.

My brother had a 25ft “I think” by fractal for about 20k last march. Quality was ok but not amazing by any means. Structurally it was fine but overall fit and finish was sloppy.

Two years ago I had Universal build me a 20' enclosed with 104" rear door. It's just for my transport business so no fuel or water, no work bench or cabinets. Just a winch and spare tire in the floor. Trailer was $17k with an MSO that I took to Sonora Smog Check and had them register it to my business for a couple hundred dollars. I had the floor epoxy coated for $1500 (the rear door is slippery as fuck when it's raining) and installed a 5k Harbor Freight winch. A year later the roof was leaking so I had my trailer repair shop reseal it.

We've put 50k miles on the trailer and it's definitely showing wear and tear. The door frame is separating from the trailer, floor boards are pulling up, rust.

We've transported trailers from all the major builders in So CA and they are all the same poor quality, but some much worse than others. When I build another trailer I'll go back to Universal.
