Where's all my golfers at ? Surprised there wasn't a post about the US Open. It was fun watching the leaders fold under pressure and see JJ crush that drive on 17 to birdie the hole. Then follow it up on 18 with that 64' putt was unbelievable.

The course was brutal this year, chewing up the top players and spitting them out! Rory destroyed a tee marker and W. Clark did some damage in the locker room after he missed the cut out of frustration.

JJ has been playing well lately and he deserved the win. He kept digging after having some bad holes, kept his composure and didn't melt down like others did.

I know they want the course to be difficult, but that rough was out of control!

I watched some on Saturday, the greens were over the top hard, virtually every golfer 3-putted at some point. 4 footers being missed all day long. I really didn't enjoy that part of the course.

Golfed a bit in my early 20's. Enjoyed it until I took lessons. That took the fun factor away and never went back. Now for watching cow pasture pool on the tv. Hard pass for me.

Enjoyed watching these guys be mortal for once. Good for Spaun. Felt for him when he lost the Masters. Glad he bounced back and got that victory.

I actually enjoy it when the course reduces them to play like the average weekend hacker. Sometimes it's boring when they are -20

When you've played the game, even at our level, and see the course doing those things to Elite Golfers, it gives me a little chuckle and makes it fun. 20 under rounds are like watching Neckcar for me now...boring as hell.

Sadly, I was burnt out back in the late 1970s.
I was staff photographer for the local newspaper, and was charged with
covering all the Palm Springs golf events.
Fun at first, but a pain in the buttocks.
I will watch golf if there is no pron on.
(Priorities)

just watched sunday and it was fun different without any big names contending but grats to JJ

I wonder if he will fade back into obscurity like Jason Dufner did.
