A guy was digging behind our office and found a 1907 $10 silver coin. Do we have any collectors that can give a ballpark on value ? I had no idea there was any other silver coins greater than a dollar.

I do a little;  more for the intrigue of how old it is where its been the significance of the year, and whose had it then vs. value.

value seems to be all over the place certain years have rare blemishes, rare proofs, rare mints that all add/subtract from value.

Grew up with family owning arcades and soda machines. We always collected the silver coins.  They are easy to spot. Have tons of them.
1964 and before for dimes, quarters, and above.

I've never seen one either.  They definitely had some cool stuff back in the day.  That is super cool.  If were me I'd keep it just to add to my pile of cool stuff.

Thanks for the reply's so far. Waiting for my buddy to send me the pic but I think it's just like the one in the link above. Where it was found is just as odd the coin itself. I'll post pictures of that tomorrow as well. It's in San Francisco and on the side of a hill next to the freeway.

Collect?  Not really, but I always bring back coins from the countries I've traveled too.

Don't polish it or anything, leave it as is..

Cool coin, never seen one. (Or heard of one.).

I remember my grandfather having a $10,000 bill back when I was a kid. If my memory is correct, it was more than one. He liked to show off

I do snow removal as a side gig (turned into a seasonal full time gig), one of my accounts is an old dude that pays me in coins. I have various silver and gold coins he’s paid me with, one is a Trump silver dollar I use as a mark for golfing.

It’s a great side gig, I have a truck with a V Plow and a tractor with a snow blower.  This is my neighbor using my rig to clean up his place, we were figuring out how to use the blower at this point.

My wife banked for 40 years and has some cool stuff. She has a sheet of $2.00 bills that has never been cut. I'll take some pics of the stuff she has. Pretty cool.

Value? While it sits in the safe probably Nothing! HA. Peace
