They are brand new. I ordered them from king chrome. It was like $150 per shock upgradeWho did you use to have them Chromed and what was the cost?
Ogden Crome in Utah has a good quality and quick turnaround time,Who did you use to have them Chromed and what was the cost?
Awesome! I’ll give it a go and see how I doProb easier doing them off the car. Amazon shows some 3M surface protection rolls. Your really only need to cover the leading edges.

I would definitely do the fronts, but the back ones don't get very sandblasted.Anybody know of someone in the IE that does the 3m clear wrap? I just got some chrome bypasses on my car that I would like it to protect.

I only bought rears. Fronts are nickel plated which looks kind of yellow IMO. Might have to get new ones there too. When my “reputable” rebuilder had them plated I think they didn’t plug the ends of the cylinder and bypass tubes. So there is copper and nickel all in there then the rebuilder I think tried to hone it which is hit and miss. They are just screwed up that’s why I bought new rears.I would definitely do the fronts, but the back ones don't get very sandblasted.
500+ days on my rears still looked great.
